In its early days, Tomorrowland was all about space exploration and futuristic technology.

This project saw the installation of New Fantasyland on the site of Adventure Land which had been closed in 1993 due to safety concerns.
In addition to New Fantasyland, other updates made during the MMRP included an updated version of Autopia and construction of Star Tours – The Adventures Continue!.
One final update to Tomorrowland occurred in 2015 with the opening of Star Wars Land at Disney theme parks worldwide.
This new area features appearances by characters from the popular movie franchise, including a signature show ride called Flight of the Falcon.
